Our challenge and goals
Employee safety is a key element of every workplace, yet ensuring consistent compliance in real time is challenging. Many companies struggle with how to notify workers when they forget to use mandatory protective equipment, or how to monitor entry into hazardous or restricted zones without requiring manual supervision.
The goal of the project was to create an intelligent system that automatically monitors compliance with safety measures and instantly alerts users when a rule is violated.
Our solution
We developed a software solution based on the principles of the PAULA application, adapted specifically for industrial and manufacturing environments. The system uses camera sensors and computer vision algorithms to detect whether a worker is wearing the required protective equipment — such as a helmet, reflective vest, or mask.
When the system identifies a safety violation, it immediately sends a real-time alert. In addition, it can track and evaluate entries into hazardous or restricted zones.
To enhance personal data protection, an additional module can be integrated to automatically anonymize a worker’s face in footage, ensuring GDPR compliance.
