Social impact

Brain:IT is actively involved in activities with a positive social impact, particularly in the field of education. We collaborate with the following Slovak universities: Comenius University in Bratislava, Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava, and University of Žilina. Within the University of Žilina, we primarily cooperate with two faculties, specifically the Faculty of Management Science and Informatics (FRI UNIZA) and the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology (FEIT UNIZA). Brain:IT cooperates with both faculties not only on research and development projects, but also strives to support student life, various events and educational activities, finance equipment for students (SW and HW) and invest in shared spaces where students spend their free time. We evaluate the best students individually, by awarding the best semester papers, offering guidance for final thesis, and providing the opportunity to gain experience.

We also collaborate with Jozef Murgaš Industrial School in Banská Bystrica, for which we organize company tours, prepare lectures for students, and participate in project-based learning.
