Our customer
Bratislava Water Company, Inc. (BVS) is one of the largest suppliers of drinking water in Slovakia. It provides the production and distribution of drinking water as well as wastewater management for more than 800,000 residents of Bratislava and the surrounding regions. As a modern public utility company, BVS has long focused on improving service quality, streamlining document management, and digitizing internal processes to deliver faster and more transparent communication to its customers.
Our challenge and goal
Before implementing the solution, BVS faced lengthy processes and high paper consumption, which burdened not only the company itself but also the environment. Every customer process—from application to contract—required printing, physical signatures, and manual document handling.
The goal of the project was to reduce paper-based administration, speed up the processing of requests at the contact center, and enable clients to access services 100% online.
Our solution
To meet all the client’s requirements, we developed custom software enhanced with electronic signing capabilities. Today, clients of Bratislava Water Company can sign forms, applications, and contracts in two ways:
Online from the comfort of their home, without the need to print, physically sign, scan, or send documents. The client simply selects the required document, signs it electronically on their device, and sends it with a single click.
At the BVS contact center, where the client signs the prepared document quickly and paperlessly on a signature tablet, allowing the center’s staff to access the document immediately on their device and proceed with further processing.
The solution for the client was composed of several parts:
Custom software
Provides online access to forms, applications, and contracts.
Electronic signing
A solution deployed within the client’s infrastructure, enabling the company and its customers to sign, verify, and view documents.
Signature tablets
Provide a fast and simple way to sign documents without the need for paper or printing at branch offices.
