What are trusted services?
According to Regulation (EU) No. 910/2014 of the European Parliament and of the Council, a trusted service is an electronic service that is normally provided for remuneration and consists of:
the creation, verification, and validation of electronic signatures, electronic seals, electronic time stamps, electronic registered delivery services, and certificates related to these services,
the creation, verification, and validation of certificates for website authentication,
the preservation of electronic signatures, electronic seals, or certificates related to these services.

Podľa nariadenia Európskeho parlamentu a Rady č. 910/2014 sa dôveryhodnou službou rozumie elektronická služba, ktorá sa spravidla poskytuje za odplatu a spočíva:
vo vyhotovovaní, overovaní a validácii elektronických podpisov, elektronických pečatí alebo elektronických časových pečiatok, elektronických doručovacích služieb pre registrované zásielky a certifikátov, ktoré s týmito službami súvisia
vo vyhotovovaní, overovaní a validácii certifikátov pre autentifikáciu webových sídiel
v uchovávaní elektronických podpisov, pečatí alebo certifikátov, ktoré s týmito službami súvisia
