Our challenge and goals
A customer from the automotive industry faced several challenges in human resources management. Employee evaluations were often subjective, as they did not account for the employee’s own perspective, their competencies, attendance, or other relevant criteria.
Previously, no unified or standardized system existed for evaluating departments and organizational units. The evaluation workflow itself was complicated, and without a system-based solution, it was impossible to implement it effectively.
The HR department also faced a high volume of requests, such as job position changes, bonus assignments, and employee rotations. Employees did not have access to their own HR profile or an overview of their goals, bonuses, and career development opportunities, which decreased their motivation.
The customer, with more than five thousand employees and a complex bonus system, needed a solution that would deliver transparency, efficient evaluations, and real-time visibility of all relevant information.
Our solution
Our goal was to create an integrated HR portal with a clear employee assessment system, bringing all necessary information and processes together in one environment.
The solution was connected via a middleware capable of receiving various data types, and it was fully integrated with the SAP ERP system. Another important integration was established with our own “effective eHR environment”, which manages records of incidents and job positions.
The system was further expanded with integrations to external tools such as KPI management and training management. It offers a wide range of configurable parameters and automated calculations while remaining flexible — administrators and managers can apply exceptions where needed.
To ensure user accessibility, we also developed a mobile application that mirrors the responsive portal and provides real-time notifications. Employees thus have instant access to all information about their evaluations, goals, and bonuses — directly on their mobile phones.
